📖 IELTS 단어, 패러프레이징의 중요성!
아이엘츠 라이팅 태스크 1을 공부하기 위해서는
패러프레이징하기 좋은 단어들을 따로 정리해놓는 게 좋습니다.
IELTS단어는 두 가지 종류가 있는데요!
자주 나오는 그래프 소재 단어 (돈, 인구, 생산, 등)
그래프 단어(어떻게 상승/하락하는지 등)
그래프 단어는 라이팅 공부할 때 특히 더 신경써서 정리해야 할 필요성이 있는데요!
그 외에도 소비와 관련된 단어들,
인구와 관련된 단어들,
생산과 관련된 단어들 등 섹션별로 본인이 자주 사용하는 단어 위주로
정리해두는 것이 좋습니다 :)

소재 단어
Car = automobile = vehicle
Country = nation = state
People = citizen = man or woman = individual
People in the UK = British
People in Australia = Australians
Sales = income = revenue = turnover = how much money was made
Spending = expenditure
Consumption = how much was consumed
Production = generate = manufacture = be produced = be made = be manufactured
The income rate = the income level = the level of income =
the rate of income = the level of revenue = the revenue rate = the revenue level
그래프 단어 (변화)
A dramatic shift
A sudden rise
A sharp decrease
A consistent flow
A steady movement
Constant shift
A slight rise
A gradual fall
A marginal change
A modest increase
Fluctuate = wave = oscillate = vacillate = palpitate
Dominant = major
Prediction = projection
